Crossword puzzles have existed for over 100 years, but the barrier to entry for creating them still seems insurmountable to many. It's really freaking hard to fill a grid with diverse and interesting words. Even today with powerful computers at our fingertips, grid-filling software programs are quirky and unreliable, and most importantly they sit behind a paywall. That's why we made fillmein, a completely free crossword constructing page that runs in your web browser!

The only personal details we keep come from signing in: your email, and your name if you use Google. We count visits (with cookies only if you allow them) and log errors so we can fix them.
